29-04-2008
A team of IBM staff is to move into a recently refurbished office space in Sale, south Manchester, according to reports.Kenmore Capital, which part owns the property along with HBOS, has suggested that its office refurbishment efforts were designed to attract high-profile tenants such as IBM.
Other office space in the Jackson House building is being rented by Chep UK and One Advice and more than 6,000 sq ft remains available, Property Week reports.
Reflecting on the success of the office refurbishment, Kenmore's boss in Manchester Ben Roberts said: "The building now offers high quality facilities and performance which compares with any Grade A space in south Manchester."
He added that a number of tenants, including IBM had previously left Jackson House as a result of "inherent problems with the property", which have now been rectified.
Meanwhile, Marks & Spencer recently revealed that it is considering a number of office layouts in Manchester with a view to relocating some of its staff to the north-west of England.
