The Kings Cross Central office construction project in central London is set to get underway, it has been revealed.
Planning consent has been achieved by the developer, with the project set to deliver up to to 430,000 sq ft of new office interior space for the capital and somewhere in the region of 8.6 million sq ft of new retail space.
Completion of the project has been earmarked for 2015, with the developer aiming for a BREEAM rating of Excellent for the new property to highlight an ongoing commitment to sustainable design.
Elsewhere in the capital, the Quill office construction project is about to get underway after plans have been approved by local officials.
Standing at 31 storeys, the building will offer modern office design space, apartments and retail outlets and is to be situated in Southwark at the site of Capital House, which is to make way for the new development in the coming months.
