Leeds merger fuels office expansion

A merger of two Leeds-based businesses has seen an office interiors expansion and development as the enlarged company looks to the future.

Sports marketing expert XSEM is aiming to accommodate staff and management from The Events Office, which has been operating across Europe from its base in Yorkshire.

The Events Office stages a range of showcases in different parts of the continent and both businesses are confident that after their office fit-out they will be well positioned to benefit from one another's specialist knowledge.

XSEM is currently headquartered at the Round Foundry Media Centre and having worked with The Event Office on several projects in recent years, the group is looking to make the most of the potential synergies going forward.

Darren Boston from The Events Office told the Yorkshire Evening Post said: "We share a common goal of providing a great event experience."

"It's an honour to think they see The Events Office as a ready-made fit for their expansion plans," he added.

The same newspaper reported recently that the Kenmore Property Group had applied to local authorities to redevelop the City House office block in Leeds city centre.
