Office construction in Liverpool could become more straightforward following the introduction of new services by Liverpool City Council.
The council plans to appoint three Business Champions who will talk to firms to give them a point of contact when considering office construction plans in the city.
A pre-application phase will also be introduced to allow businesses to iron out issues and speed up the planning process.
Joe Anderson, leader of Liverpool City Council, said: "What we are trying to do is to react to what businesses are telling us and provide a service with clear standards for both existing Liverpool companies and those who wish to invest in the city."
Meanwhile, planning for the new Liverpool Waters scheme was submitted to local officials on Monday (October 4th).
It is one of the largest commercial developments currently being planned in the UK and will cost developers £5.5 billion to realise.
