Liverpool set for new office space

A new six-storey office block that is being built on a disused strip of land in Birkenhead will be ready in December, it has been reported.

Felton Developments, which has its headquarters on the Wirral, has said the £6.25 million office design will cater for businesses looking for high-quality accommodation.

Building work will take sustainability into account and should be completed by the end of the year, the Liverpool Echo reports.

Founder and managing director John Felton told the newspaper: "This is an important commercial scheme that will provide Wirral with a premier office facility in a first-class town centre location.

"We have already entered early discussions with a number of potential occupiers."

Meanwhile, Barclays's private wealth management division has agreed to lease office interiors in Liverpool's 20 Chapel Street development, Choregus states.

In February, development firm Grosvenor unveiled three newly-refurbished office buildings at its Liverpool One development, adding 35,000 sq ft of office space to the city's commercial property sector.
