Lloyd's Banking Group to consolidate Manchester offices
Office design news from Morgan Lovell

Lloyd's banking Group is looking to consolidate its Manchester offices and create a north-west hub for the firm.
As a result, the company has contracted GVA Grimley to search for suitable office design space ranging from 50,000 to 200,000 sq ft, with up to 2,000 jobs to be moved to the city should the search be a success.
Developments that are presently being touted as possible sites include Spinningfields and St Peter's Square.
Partner in the Manchester branch of GVA Grimley Simon Reynolds said: "These top-end requirements don't tend to come along too often and although there are strategic decisions still to be made, Manchester can argue that it ticks all the boxes for a large hub."
He added that there could still be some time before a final decision is made on the office move, but Manchester could be the best place for the company to set up its northern hub.
Lloyd's Banking Group was formerly known as Lloyd's TSB but changed its name in January of last year. Other brands owned by the company include Halifax.
