London 'best for office interiors'

London is the best city in which to do business and to have office interior space, new research has shown.

Darren Johnson, chair of the London Assembly, said it came as little surprise that London was voted the best city in which to do business in this year's European Cities Monitor and as such, modern office design space in the capital could be seen as a good investment for firms looking to increase their influence.

He commented: "The huge range of languages spoken, its accessibility, its transport system, its international role in terms of markets, its highly skilled staff and our highly trained workforce and so on are all plus-points."

According to the European Cities Monitor, London came first - for the 20th year in a row - with a weighed score of 0.85.

Paris was second (with a score of 0.56), Frankfurt third (0.33), Barcelona forth (0.28) and Brussels fifth (0.28).
