The proposed One New Change shopping centre in central London is set to incorporate up to 330,000 sq ft of office space.
Situated next to St Paul's Cathedral, the £540 million mixed-use scheme will offer a considerable amount of office space, as well as being home to well-known retail brands including Banana Republic and Hugo Boss.
Rob Noel, London managing director for Land Securities, said: "The City planners have been working on making the City a much more dynamic place for people to work and play and live. This is the next step of that."
Elsewhere in the capital, British Land has signed an agreement with Oxford Properties for a 50:50 joint venture on the construction of the new Cheesegrater skyscraper.
In total, the project will cost £340 million and aims to deliver 610,000 sq ft of new office interiors to the capital. Completion of the build is predicted for the second quarter of 2014.
