Plans for the creation of a new development in central London have been submitted to local officials.
The Wall Place scheme could deliver up to 500,000 sq ft of office space in the City and is to be built on the former site of the St Alphage property if planning approval is granted.
Furthermore, an additional 195,000 sq ft could be constructed at 123 London Wall under the plans.
"We are confident that the scale and stature of the scheme means it will become a well recognised City landmark," managing director of the developer Martin Jepson noted.
Elsewhere in the capital, 199 Bishopgate is to undergo a £35 million office refurbishment programme in the coming months that will see the regeneration of 142,000 sq ft of office interior space at the building.
The project will get underway in the summer of next year and is scheduled to be completed by the end of 2012.
