Two new major office developments are set to be completed over the coming 12 months that will provide a significant boost to the London market, it has been claimed.
Walbrook Office Scheme and 1 Mitre Square will between them add more than one million sq ft of grade A office design space to the capital, with Walbrook delivering the majority of the space at 900,000 sq ft.
Director of Helical Bar Gerald Kay - the developer of 1 Mitre Square - said: "This is an exciting scheme with an excellent floor plate. The environment around the building will be much improved with a major upgrade of the public realm."
In total, 1 Mitre Square will provide 270,000 sq ft of new office space.
Elsewhere, Nigel Ellis, director at Prickett & Ellis, recently claimed prime central London property is being snapped up by foreign investors as the capital is seen as a "safe haven" for investment.
