The National Pension Service (NPS) Central London Property Limited Partnership fund has purchased two office interior buildings.
Rockspring Property Investment Managers brokered the £268 million deal, which saw the fund buy 88 Wood Street in the City of London and a 50 per cent stake in 40 Grosvenor Place in Victoria.
In total, the two properties offer 247,000 sq ft of modern office design space, which is presently held on a multi-let basis.
Robert Gilchrist, chief executive of Rockspring and fund director for NPS Central London Property Limited Partnership, said: "These two iconic properties clearly demonstrate the type of assets which we will continue to source on behalf of NPS, as they benefit from a prime location and are well let to major tenants."
Elsewhere in the capital, Alex Thompson, director at the Winkworth Notting Hill office, noted prime London real estate is gaining in value at present.
