London office lettings announced

New office lettings in the Thames Valley region of London have indicated that the area is recovering from the recession.
According to needofficespace.com, Tulow Oil and Rackspace are hoping to acquire up to 171,390 square feet and 95,395 square feet of White House property respectively, with existing occupier Orpus Technology maintaining the rest.
The two firms are upgrading to take advantage of larger office space with the move, which will help give the London area a boost after its all-time low number of office lettings transactions earlier this year.
A spokeswoman for Rackspace told the website: "We are looking into the feasibility of relocating to a new facility in the London area."
The London Borough of Hounslow recently granted planning permission to Carlton Properties for a £100 million development at the Alfa Laval site in Brentford, which will see buildings turned into office space, commercial outlets and residential housing.
