A new office development in London is trying to add a splash of colour to the capital by painting its buildings in an off the wall manner.
Operated by Legal & General Investment Management (LGIM), the Central St Giles development offers 405,000 sq ft of modern office design space, as well as a range of residential and retail properties, but the standout feature of the project is the rainbow design in which the buildings have been painted.
Simon Wilkes, project director of developer Legal & General Property, said: "By creating a new heart we hope people will rediscover the St Giles area which in turn will be a catalyst for further enhancements of this corner of central London."
The project was granted approval in 2006 and is due for completion this year. It has seen its buildings painted blue, orange, red, yellow, green and white.
LGIM presently manages property funds in the region of £8.3 billion and has been operating in the sector for the last 30 years.
