Planning consent for the Wood Wharf office scheme in London has been submitted and the developer is hoping to offer businesses in the capital an additional 250,000 sq ft of office interior space.
Office news portal Choregus has reported that the project will cover more than seven hectares and will be spread across two buildings - the tallest of which will reach 134 m.
Modern office design for the building was carried out by Kohn Pedersen Fox, the same company which was praised for its work on the Clifford Chance building, which is also situated in the Docklands area.
Elsewhere in the capital, London mayor Boris Johnson recently extended his Think London scheme in an effort to attract high-profile businesses to the UK.
As part of his ongoing plans to stimulate London's economic recovery, he is offering overseas companies subsidised rents for up to six months if they take on office interior space in the capital.
