MA wins London office construction contract

Morgan Ashurst (MA) has been awarded a new £6.3 million contract for the construction of offices in London.
The company is to take on an eight-storey development at Gee Street to create up to 2,500 sq ft of modern office design space at the site, as well as up to five new residential apartments.
Plans were created by Munkenbech and Partners Architects, with MA succesfully tendering for the deal. As part of the construction, sustainable elements such as energy efficient ventilation and solar panels are to be installed at the property.
The scheme will now get underway swiftly, with completion due in April next year.
Elsewhere, a PricewaterhouseCooper's survey recently positioned London as the best market for commercial property investment in Europe.
It found that large-scale price declines - the greatest in 20 years - and the present weakness of sterling has made London one of the most attractive options for new office space across the continent.
