A new development in the Midlands could result in fresh demand for office space in the region.
Dudley Council's Brierley Hill Area Action Plan includes a £1.5 billion investment into the area, which will be used for future planning applications until 2026.
Councillor Les Jones, Dudley's cabinet member for economic regeneration, stated that this is a "huge" step forward.
"These ambitious development plans will create new homes, shops and office space in Brierley Hill and will also ensure a strong environmental link to development," he was quoted as saying by the Stourbridge News.
It was added that the £1.5 billion package of investment in office space will be approved later this summer by the council.
Helen Longstaffe, director of business space at DTZ in Nottingham, recently stated that office space in the city is set to be transformed as a result of a major refurbishment project which is taking place in Rodney House.
