A new 78,000 sq ft modern office design building has been completed in Manchester.
Construction of the The Hive in Manchester's Northern Quarter was finished this month, with Argent Group - the owner of the development - Manchester city council and Bardsley Construction all taking part in the topping out ceremony.
The building has been awarded a BREEAM rating of Excellent and is aimed at providing modern office design space for companies in the creative industries in the city.
Oliver Butler, Argent's project manager at The Hive, said: "The building is proving very popular with Manchester's creative industries. We are offering businesses the opportunity to make their own mark, to take shell and core space and fit it out how they like."
Meanwhile, a report by CB Richard Ellis recently revealed that during the first half of 2009, office interior sales of £46 million were completed in the north-west city, the largest of which being the £5.75 million sale of 53 King Street to Vision Developments.
