Consultant surveyors Scanlans is set to move offices in Manchester - to next door.
The firm will be carrying out the office relocation from 73 Mosley Street to 75 Mosley Street in order to take advantage of upgraded IT and communications systems at the new premises.
Managing partner of Scanlans David McKee said: "It's important to us to maintain a significant city centre presence, so it was a bonus to stay on Mosley Street where we have been based for the past ten years."
He added that thanks to office refurbishment action at the new property, the company's staff will benefit from a better quality working environment and improved meeting and conference room facilities.
Elsewhere in the city, construction work at the landmark St Peter's Square project on the site of Elizabeth House could be about to get underway after developer Argent issued a tender for the design and build contract of the £120 million scheme.
