Manchester offices 'an affordable option'

Companies renting office interior space in Manchester might be happy to learn that the city has been found to offer some of the most affordable commercial properties in Europe, new figures have shown.
Research carried out by office lettings agent DTZ showed that the average European city occupier spends 15 per cent of their annual employee output on office accommodation, according to Crain's Manchester Business.
However, DTZ revealed that those companies situated in Manchester are presently spending just 12 per cent.
The city was found to be more affordable than central London; however, premises in Edinburgh and the City had better results than Manchester.
Meanwhile, Central Manchester University Hospitals NHS Trust recently announced that it is to undergo an office relocation project to Madison Place's Central Park development in the east of the city.
The trust is to take on 7,267 sq ft of office interior space on a ten-year lease, the newspaper recently revealed.
