Manchester's 120-year-old grade II-listed Spring Gardens is to undergo an office refurbishment in the coming months.
Up to 17,000 sq ft of new grade A office interior space is to be created at the site, with the building being renamed Waterhouse at its reopening - in commemoration of the architect who designed it, Alfred Waterhouse.
Manchester-based property consultants P3 will be in charge of letting the new office space once work is finished, alongside the present agent for the property Atisreal.
Peter Gallagher, partner at P3, said: "The building occupies an absolutely prime site at the top of King Street and is equally suitable for the single office user or as suites for smaller companies."
Elsewhere in the city, office news portal Choregus recently reported that financial consultancy Debt Advisor has relocated to a new 3,500 sq ft office interior on the third floor of the Westpoint office building in Old Trafford.
