Global insurance and risk management firm Marsh has announced the uptake of modern office design space in Manchester.
Marsh has taken on 39,482 sq ft of office space at Belvedere House and has signed a ten-year lease at the premises, with the deal being brokered by agent CB Richard Ellis.
Andrew Jenkins of property owners Orchard Street says: "We are delighted that a world-class occupier such as Marsh has chosen Belvedere as its new Manchester base."
This positive news for Belvedere follows recent lettings of more than 8,000 sq ft to a number of other occupiers, including Towers Watson, Steelcase, Altium and Arrow Global.
Elsewhere in the city, kitchen design firm and German wholesaler Kutchenhaus recently announced an expansion of its office premises at Kings Park.
The company took on an additional 11,000 sq ft of office interior space at a property where it already operated 13,000 sq ft. It has signed a new ten-year agreement for the extra office space with letting agent Savills.
