A new business centre in Maryport, Cumbria is nearing its completion.
Local Paper the Times & Star has reported that the £1.9 million business centre on the site of the former British Industrial Plastics factory on the Solway trading estate has space for 30 small to medium-sized businesses to move in.
Scheduled for completion in October, the modern office design space on offer looks set to attract businesses from across the region to the park.
"[The park is] ideal for either new businesses or established companies looking to relocate and it's in a great location having good road links to the rest of West Cumbria and being only about 40 minutes away from the M6," councillor Tony Markley, the council's cabinet member for economic development, told the paper.
Elsewhere in the region, LDP Business recently reported that Morley Estates in Merseyside has signed up a number of tenants in recent months, with office interior lettings at its Ellesmere Port and Candy Island developments topping a combined 336,000 sq ft.
