MEN Media has announced plans to move its staff to new premises in Oldham.
The company, which publishes the Manchester Evening News among other titles, is to carry out its second office relocation in the last six months after the group's owner Trinity Mirror announced the purchase of Guardian Media Group (GMG) Regional Media.
GMG is the publisher of both the Guardian and the Observer, although GMG's Channel M was not part of the deal.
Chris Wade, director of communications at GMG, said: "On Channel M, we are considering a range of options and will update staff in due course."
Elsewhere, the Office for National Statistics (ONS) recently announced plans to move its backroom operations for the next census to premises at Trafford Park in Manchester.
It will see the ONS moving into 180,000 sq ft of office space at the business park, with the move scheduled to take place before the end of the year.
