Miramax has made Covent Garden its new European hub in London.
The film company is hoping the move will be a vital step in helping it to expand into Europe.
A number of high-profile Miramax staff will be based at the new headquarters, including former MGM worldwide television group executive Joe Patrick, who will be leading the sale arm into Europe.
Mike Lang, Miramax chief executive officer, said: "Opening the London office as our European hub is an important step in our company’s evolution and we are thrilled to have a presence on the ground."
Also joining the team in Covent Garden will be ex-Sony TV executive Danny Goldman.
