Modern office design 'could benefit businesses'

Companies across the UK could benefit from updating their office space, it has been claimed.
According to CH Workspace, modern office design should incorporate functionality with sustainability and longevity. Office furniture should be hardwearing, yet aesthetically pleasing, in order to create a productive and comfortable atmosphere for staff.
The company stated: "Design, looks, style really matter when choosing desks. A beautiful artistic desk can assign glamorous look to your office."
Elsewhere, Tony Rooke, environmental manager for Logica, recently argued that all forms of energy efficiency upgrades can play an important role in helping firms boost their sustainable office design credentials.
He said that whatever the make-up of the incoming government following the general election tomorrow (May 6th), it will remain a priority for legislation to penalise poor sustainability and to reward those who do well.
