Morgan Lovell attends office refit event

Office interior design business Morgan Lovell has attended an office refit event at London's Excel centre this week.
Sustainable design manager Lara Conaway represented the company at the recent easyFairs Interior Fit Out event, which took place on Wednesday (April 29th).
She held a workshop entitled Economical Sustainable Refurbishment and the Role of the UKGBC, which outlined realistic approaches to the greening of existing office interior space in the UK and the need to do so.
Ms Conaway commented: "We need to make better use of the reuse concept of sustainability and convert the building stock we already have in a more environmentally friendly manner."
In other sustainable design news, the UK's largest new office park which is presently under construction was recently awarded a BREEAM rating of "Very Good" prior to its completion.
Maxim Office Park in Lanarkshire will offer 756,000 sq ft of new grade A office interior space when finished and has also embraced sustainable design ideals.
