A seminar by Morgan Lovell is to be held in London on November 16th to inform businesses about the benefits of sustainable office design, in particular BREEAM.
Hosted by Adrian Norman, the event takes place at Charles Darwin House and is running from 08:30 to 10:30 GMT.
It will examine the main features of BREEAM and will focus on real-life examples of best practice.
David Henderson, managing director of Morgan Lovell, said: "It is often thought that achieving a high BREEAM rating is only possible in new buildings, but this seminar shows it is possible to transform an older workplace into a model of sustainability."
Meanwhile, Fresh Business Thinking recently reported sustainable office design could be beneficial for firms looking to reduce their carbon emissions and boost their bottom lines.
The article claimed that present levels of office recycling in the UK have helped to reduce carbon emissions by 18 million tonnes per annum to date.
