Morgan Lovell completes Stiefel refit

Sustainable design company Morgan Lovell has completed the office refurbishment for Stiefel Laboratories.

The refit was carried out by Morgan Lovell's Wokingham-based team who delivered a BREEAM-rated office interior of Very Good for the firm.

In total, 38,000 sq ft of sustainable office interior space was created in a 19-week period, from the initial design phase to full completion of the work.

A spokesperson for Stiefel commented: "We had just six months to complete the new offices and to move out of our existing premises. The design and build nature of the works with Morgan Lovell really helped us to achieve this tight timeframe."

Furthermore, Morgan Lovell noted that the sustainable design aspects of the build mean that the payback period on the property is less than ten years.

Meanwhile, sustainable design expert for the company Lara Conaway recently attended the Building Institute of Facilities Management conference - at Keble College, Oxford - where she put forward the case for converting old office stock into new sustainable workspaces.
