Sustainable office design experts Morgan Lovell have announced they will be hosting a breakfast and seminar for guests to discuss green issues in business.
The event is taking place on May 26th and will see guests invited to a meeting to outline how firms can best achieve carbon reductions in order to help the government meet its commitments of an 80 per cent reduction by 2050.
It will include a talk by guest speaker Katherine Deas, managing director of Low Carbon Workplace.
David Henderson, Morgan Lovell's managing director, said: "We're delighted to be hosting this seminar with Low Carbon Workplace and are looking forward to demonstrating that organisations can reduce their carbon footprint, without reducing their bottom line."
Meanwhile, Richard Critchley, policy manager for transport, environment & planning at Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce, recently claimed that rising energy costs in the UK are forcing many companies to consider the benefits of sustainable office design and other green initiatives.
