Contemporary office design company Morgan Lovell has been voted the 14th greenest business in Britain.
According to the Times Green List, the firm ranked strongly in answer to a number of sustainable design questions - with a score of 96 per cent for the statement that it takes its green commitments very seriously and 90 per cent for minimising its environmental impact.
David Henderson, managing director of Morgan Lovell, said: "Being recognised as the country's 14th greenest company is a testament to the hard work staff have put in over the last year to make Morgan Lovell more sustainable."
In other sustainable design news, Architecture and Design Scotland has launched a new paper to discuss the best ways to involve local communities in sustainable design practices for the future.
The organisation has set up a cross-party group to examine architectural planning and ways to incorporate environmentally friendly practices into everyday life.
