Sustainable office design company Morgan Lovell has held a seminar to discuss green features of office refurbishment and how to involve staff in environmentally-friendly initiatives.
The session was held at the company's head offices in Soho, London and was entitled Office Interiors - A Better Way.
Peter Hudson, site controller for ITV, presented a presentation on how the broadcaster had recently tackled its 200,000 sq ft refurbishment at its head offices.
"Questions were raised among delegates about how to build a business case for office moves and refurbishment, how to handle relocation and how to get staff to buy in to office fit-out projects," commented Paul Kelly, head of marketing at Morgan Lovell.
Meanwhile, office provider Bruntwood recently urged businesses to continue implementing green office design and environmentally-friendly practices despite the ongoing economic decline.
The company stated that green features can help to reduce a firm's costs over the long term.
