Lara Conaway - sustainable office design expert for Morgan Lovell - is to put forward the case for converting old office stock into new sustainable workspaces.
Taking place on April 1st, the Building Institute of Facilities Management conference - at Keble College, Oxford - will consider what types of building are best to convert, how to do so and the impact of moving to a low-carbon office base.
Ms Conaway commented: "To realistically create more cost-effective, green offices, we need to make better use of the reuse concept of sustainability and convert the building stock we already have in a more environmentally friendly manner."
And in related news, the company is also currently running a number of seminars aimed at improving knowledge for regarding the implementation and understanding of BREEAM guidelines.
Ms Conaway will be in attendance at the meetings and will provide her own insights in how businesses can employ sustainable office design practices to achieve the best results.
