Marks & Spencer has announced plans to move into 21,000 sq ft of office space at the Spinningfields development in Manchester.
Crain's Manchester Business reported the company has signed a 15-year lease for 3 Hardman Street at the office interior park and plans to move from its present headquarters in Salford Quays.
Michael Ingall, chief executive of Allied London, said: "We are delighted Marks & Spencer has moved to Spinningfields. This building is the best office building outside of London and is a great asset for Manchester."
He added the business has been on the lookout for some time for high quality premises that meet the firm's exacting standards.
Elsewhere in the city, research from Lambert Smith Hampton recently revealed Manchester has become the most in-demand city for office space out of the "big six" outside of London.
The other major cities counted in the study were Birmingham, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Bristol and Leeds.
