Dental firm Ortho-Care UK has begun building work on its new £3 million headquarters in Bradford, it has been revealed.
The company has struck first ground on its office construction project that will create a new 25,000 sq ft premises for the company. Ortho-Care UK is presently residing in a 16,000 sq ft property in Oxford, but the premises are insufficient to meet the needs of the growing business.
Founder of the firm Richard Garford stated: "It provides a vastly improved working environment. We're making this investment when the outlook for the business here in the UK, which remains our core market, and abroad remains promising."
He added that the business has now run out of space at its Oxford home and this is what prompted the £3million investment for the future expansion of the firm's office space.
Elsewhere, Taunton Dean Borough Council has submitted plans for the construction of a new office complex in Taunton town centre.
The development has been earmarked for the present site of the Priory Bridge Road car park and will offer 2,500 sq metres of new office interiors if given the go ahead.
