Two new lettings have been secured by Alba Business Park in Livingstone, ensuring the site has now reached 75 per cent capacity.
New lettings to UK broadcaster Sky and mixed-signal semiconductor company Elonics have helped push up occupancy at the site in recent weeks, with the pair signing leases for a combined 8,000 sq ft of office interior space at the site.
Alistair MacKenzie, director of Alba Business Park, said: "These lettings to Sky and Elonics are a significant milestone in the development of Alba Business Park. Alba's reputation as an attractive, quality business park is reflected by its impressive tenant line up."
Meanwhile, CB Richard Ellis (CBRE) recently predicted that there is a growing likelihood of a sustained worldwide recovery in the office sector.
The CBRE Global Office Rent Index rose by 4.3 per cent year on year in the first quarter of 2011, following a rise of 2.4 per cent in the previous three-month period and the CBRE Global Office Capital Value Index grew by 12 per cent year-on-year.
