Retail company New Look has announced it plans to carry out major expansion plans over the coming months and as part of this initiative has decided to relocate its headquarters to London.
The firm is planning the opening of a new 39,000 sq ft store next to its new headquarters on Oxford Street as part of the overall expansion and office relocation plans.
New Look is taking over the premises of the beleaguered bookseller Borders, after five of its stores were earmarked for closure in recent weeks.
As a result of the New Look's recently announced financial results - showing a rise in earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation of ten per cent to £217.6 million - the group is looking to cement its position as a global brand.
Recent research published by global consultants Cushman & Wakefield showed that across the capital total commercial property sales improved by 110 per cent during the second quarter of this year.
