Plans for the creation of a new office building at the MediaCity UK development in Salford have been given the go-ahead by local planners.
The Greenhouse will provide office interior suites for up to 12 companies and is to be built opposite the development's other iconic structure - The Pie Factory.
Stephen Wild, managing director of the property's developer, said: "It is located less than a minute's walk from the new tram terminus at the heart of MediaCityUK and complements the media hub we've created at The Pie Factory."
He added that it is an "ideal solution for small companies looking for a cost-effective and flexible" office.
Elsewhere in the area, Manchester's Three Piccadilly Place recently welcomed seven new tenants.
The development saw office space taken up by government organisations Teach First, Future Leaders and Teaching Leaders, as well as software provider Rapid Addition, healthcare training company Healthimo, business consultancy The Corporate Planet and one other unnamed firm.
