City House in Leeds is to undergo a dramatic sustainable office design makeover in the coming months, it has been revealed.
Head of sales and development at the property Craig Burrow said: "It will be our flagship sustainable building and we are pushing the cost plan to ensure we achieve a true grade A product."
In total, the 14-storey building will see 12,000 sq ft of space undergoing office refurb work in the months ahead, with a new mezzanine reception area and entrance foyer also set to be installed in order to set the building apart from its rivals.
Mr Burrow added that the cost of moving into the property once the work has been completed could be much lower for tenants than other new properties, as there is little construction work being carried out to add costs to the project.
The city also witnessed a significant achievement for the Greenhouse - a sustainable office development that opened last year.
After months of growing tenant demand for office space at the site, the company behind the development Citu has now announced the Greenhouse is more than 70 per cent let.
