A US security firm has opened up a new office to add to the Chicago skyline in a bid to improve its national coverage, according to reports.

Chubb security will now operate a vast amount of its business from Chicago, famed for its skyscrapers and historical office district.

Perched alongside Lake Michigan, some of Chicago's office districts are among the most sort after pieces of real estate in the US.

Location can be vital in the success of an office and forms a crucial part of the design planning stage.

Security Sales & Integration stated: "Not only will this better serve the Chicago area, but it is intended to also enhance Chubb's national coverage by supplementing a regional network of existing offices in the northeast, northwest, and Texas."
