New office redesign 'allows work/life balance'

A new office in Wandsworth in London is currently using an innovative arrangement in order to promote a healthy balance between work and family.
According to the Guardian, Third Door offers parents the chance to work in a quiet, relaxing environment, while their children are in a nursery in the next room.
Writing for the newspaper, Graham Snowdon said the office redesign is intended to "create an environment in which professional and family life can work together".
Mr Snowdon noted the initiative is based on a pay-as-you-go system, in which mums and dads only accrue costs for care services they use rather than a fixed fee.
"As a parent, it's reassuring to know you're only round the corner if anything goes wrong," said nursery manager for the facility Lisa Fry.
Commenting on Third Door's blog, Ms Fry recently said many mothers and fathers are concerned they are not able to spend enough quality time with their kids.
