The National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence (NICE) is almost doubling its office interiors in Manchester's City Tower, it has emerged.
Office interiors provider Bruntwood reveals that NICE is to add 22,000 sq ft to its existing 25,000 sq ft of space in the tower.
The firm adds that, at 47,000 sq ft on a single floor, NICE now holds Manchester's largest floor plate occupancy.
An office fit out scheme is due to take place over the coming months in order to allow the healthcare group to move in from May 2009.
Ben Bennett, business planning and resources director at NICE, says: "We're delighted to take this additional space at City Tower."
He adds that taking the remaining office interiors on the floor allows NICE to cost-effectively meet its need for expansion.
NICE notes that the location allows visitors to arrive via public transport to Piccadilly or Oxford Road rail stations, or via tram to nearby Piccadilly Gardens.
