North-west development announces new lettings

Sovereign House in Cheadle has announced new office interior lettings totalling 1,766 sq ft.
Owned by Alderley Edge-based commercial property firm Orbit Developments, the centre has welcomed Images Photo Studio, Matheson & Horan Associates, ALG Finance, My Pay and JEK Utilities.
Rental costs at the centre are believed to be £10 per sq ft per month.
"Proximity and accessibility to the motorway network, ample local amenities and a highly motivated local labour supply means Cheadle is well positioned in the north-west property market," Rhys Owen, leasing and marketing surveyor at Orbit Developments, told Crain's Manchester Business.
Meanwhile, Manchester city council has announced plans for the office relocation of 1,400 of its staff to Ask Development's Number One First Street development.
The council is to take on 140,000 sq ft of office interior space at the centre while refurbishment work is carried out on the town hall complex in Manchester city centre.
