Office interior space will likely prove attractive to tenants in the coming 12 months, a new report has shown.
According to GVA Grimley's predictions for 2011, the completed MediaCity UK complex will provide a significant boost to the region and Preston's Tithebarn will have a similar positive impact upon the city as Liverpool One has had on Merseyside.
Simon Reynolds, a partner at the firm, stated: "Both Liverpool and Manchester will have the only new office schemes committed or available, which will continue to attract new business."
He added that Chester may also see an increase in occupancy due to the completion of office projects in the coming months.
Meanwhile, head of commercial division for Cluttons John Wood recently stated that office space in London's West End could see rents rise by up to eight per cent by 2015.
He noted that the availability of grade A office interior space in the capital continues to fall and this is placing an upward pressure on rents.
