The National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children (NSPCC) has set up a new regional headquarters in Birmingham.
City centre property 6-7 Newhall Square is to become the new home for the organisation in the West Midlands, with the NSPCC taking on 7,385 sq ft of grade A office interior space at the building.
Situated in Birmingham's Jewellery Quarter, the property is part of the first phase of regeneration plans for the district, with £63 million having already been spent on the project, providing 10,856 sq ft of new- build offices, a 100-bed hotel and the refurbishment of the Science Museum already completed.
Meanwhile, the Birmingham Post recently reported that Salmon Harvester Opportunity Fund has purchased the city centre property One Victoria Square on behalf of Serviced Offices UK for £17.5 million.
Offering 118,529 sq ft of grade A office interior space, the building is presently let to multiple tenants and the deal has represented an 8.3 per cent yield for its former owners.
