Formal Investments has purchased William House on Queen Street in Leeds city centre and plans to transform the premises into its new headquarters.
According to the Need Office Space blog, the building offers 24,742 sq ft of prime office interior space and used to house law firm Irwin Mitchell.
The deal was carried out in partnership with Ripley Capital and there are now plans to increase the square footage of the property to 35,000 sq ft.
Director of Formal Investments Nicholas King said: "We are delighted with this second acquisition in Leeds. The city is an important location for our business and ... offers us the opportunity of sharing in the continued revitalisation of the region."
Elsewhere in the city, high street brand Debenhams plans to move to new premises in Leeds town centre.
The firm plans to move into Evander Properties' Sherburn Distribution Park in June next year and has signed a 27-year lease for the office and industrial space at the site.
