London's newest high-rise office building Heron Tower has reached the stage of practical completion, it has been revealed.
The new tallest building in the capital, the tower stands at 230 metres and offers 440,000 sq ft of commercial grade A office interior space for tenants.
"Heron Tower has taken more than 12 years from conception to completion but the results speak for themselves: this is a truly exceptional office development in one of the world's best locations," commented Gerald Ronson, chief executive of Heron International.
He added that this latest development is a significant moment both for the company and for the City of London as a whole.
Meanwhile, diamond brokers and consultants Bonas & Company announced the opening of its latest office in London recently.
The international business has set up a new office at Thavies Inn House in Holborn, adding to the already strong multinational group which operates office space in Antwerp, Gaborone, Hong Kong, Johannesburg, Mumbai, New York, Surat and Tel Aviv.
