A new business park is to be constructed in Rochdale that will help provide hundreds of new jobs and a significant boost to the office interior market in the area.
Funded by 50:50 joint partners Centric Property Group and Barnfield Construction, as well as the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), the project aims to deliver up to 90,000 sq ft of new office space.
David Malpass, director of European programmes for the ERDF, said: "Located close to junction 20 of the M62, Crown Business Park will become part of the region's portfolio of sub-regionally important employment sites. This development will provide much needed quality buildings to the Rochdale Market."
Elsewhere in the region, bank and asset management firm Investec is planning an office relocation to Allied London's 3 Hardman Square in Manchester's Spinningfields development and hopes to have the move completed by December.
Property Week reported that 3 Hardman Square offers 350,000 sq ft of office space and provides floor plates ranging from 10,000 to 35,000 sq ft.
