Office design aids Katrina rebuild

Office design and refurbishment is coming to the aid of hundreds of businesses attempting to rebuild after hurricane Katrina, according to reports.
An office administrator, who was looking for additional office space just a few days before the hurricane hit New Orleans, now has to refurbish and make use of what she has.
Anne Leche told the Advocate: "Right after the storm I was in a state of panic."
Ms Leche drove into the known office space that hadn't been affected just two days after the hurricane and secured her space.
"I was first in line, and there were five major New Orleans law firm people behind me," she commented.
Almost a year after the hurricane the office market is still very competitive as people struggle to find good space or refurbish former holdings.
Office design can help transform office space into a functional unit again. New improved design can even help increase productivity and create a more attractive environment.
