Office interior lettings secured at Crown House

Two new office lettings have been secured by Alderley Edge-based Orbit Developments at Crown House in Wilmslow.

The property is now 75 per cent let following the signing of leases for a further 20,000 sq ft of modern office design space at the property to London-based financial services provider X-Cap Securities and Aldermore Bank.

Paul McLeman, director of leasing at Orbit Developments, commented: "This demonstrates the growing popularity of Wilmslow as a prime business location due to excellent transport links and its proximity to Stockport, Manchester city centre and Manchester Airport."

Elsewhere, the Liverpool Commercial Office Market Review carried out by Professional Liverpool and commissioned by Liverpool Vision recently revealed record levels of office lettings in 2009.

In total, the city saw almost three quarters of a million (720,000) sq ft of lettings last year, up from the 540,000 sq ft recorded in 2008.
