Investors looking for prime office interior space could still see plenty of opportunities over the months ahead, it has been claimed.
Patrick Sumner, head of property equities at Henderson Global Investors and chair of Reita, said although much of the "easy money" will have already been made in the market, there remain myriad opportunities for the savvy investor as the market has fallen considerably over the last year and a half.
He commented: "In prime shopping centres, retail warehouse parks and good, modern central London offices, we are going to see some pretty sharp value increases."
Mr Sumner added stocks are already trading at a 15 to 20 per cent premium above net asset value, indicating increases are likely to take place in the near future.
According to the Property Investment Perspective from Reita, 95 per cent of property experts think property market conditions have improved in the last three months, while 54 per cent of respondents believed the improvement in market conditions has been "significant".
